WCFE hosted the Beauty Therapy National Skills Competition on 25th and 26th February 2009.

The competition involved all aspects of beauty therapy and competitors from various colleges around the country took part. The National Skills Competition is used as part of the selection process for the World Skills Competiition which will take palce in Canada this September. Gemma Donovan and Janet Gilbert from the Waterford College of Further Education came through the interview process in the Deprartment of Education and Science and will both compete against each other in May, this winner will go on to represent Ireland in Canada this September.
