The WCFE Lecture
Series is set for 2010
From January to April 2010, WCFE is set to host a series
of public interviews and lectures from a host of major
names in the field of social care, child protection,
economics and human rights. To be held in City Hall
one afternoon each month, the talks, which will involve
the speakers being interviewed by WCFE's Shane Dunphy,
as well as taking questions from the floor, will be
recorded for the College Archives, and excerpts will
be broadcast on WLR. Students from the childcare/social
studies/nursing/special needs classes will be invited
to attend, and will also be part of the public interview
process, posing questions to the speakers about their
respective fields of excellence. To celebrate local
endeavour in each of the respective fields, the speakers
will be accompanied by a Waterford representative, to
discuss progress on the home front. The dates upon which
