COURSE DESCRIPTION
This is full-time course which involves on-and-off the job intensive training. It provides students with the range of practical skills and theoretical knowledge required for the hairdressing industry. Training is provided in out two fully equipped modern salons.

MINIMUM ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
• Leaving Certificate/ Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent.
• Successful completion of interview.
• Mature students welcome.

• One day per week
• Two week block in December
PROGRESSION
Successful completion of Hairdressing Year 1 provides entry to the Hairdressing Year 2 course. As part of this course, other experts from industry hold workshops with the class throughout the year.

COSTS
There are no college tuition fees. However, uniforms and salon materials amount to €400. Examination fees amount to an additional cost of approximately €90. Students are also required to purchase a hairdressing kit, costing €445 and books of approximately €150.
