This is a specialist module in stage 2 of the Diploma in Exercise and Health Fitness. Applicants who register for the diploma programme must take this module as a compulsory requirement.
Recognition

30 European Credit Transfer System (ECTS) credits towards the Diploma in Exercise and Health Fitness (DEHF). The DEHF is awarded by the University of Limerick and is placed at Level 7 on the National Qualifications Framework (NFQ)
Aim:
The aim of the module is to provide the participants with the skills, knowledge and competencies to provide one-to-one physical activity/fitness training to adults with varying abilities, needs and goals in a variety of environments
The NCEF is an academic affiliate of the University of Limerick, offering the only university accredited Health/ Fitness Instructor qualifications in Ireland.
Certificate and Diploma qualifications are awarded at Levels 6 & 7 on the National Framework of Qualifications and at Levels 5&6 on the European Qualifications Framework.
