Course Description

This course is aimed at those who want to gain knowledge of basic IT concepts for everyday use. Students will learn not to fear IT; through practical assignments, classroom discussions, group interaction with an emphasis on learning through enjoyment.

Course Content:

• Introduction to Computers – Hardware, software and terms explained.
• Introduction to Microsoft Windows – Opening applications, files etc.
• File Management – Creating, Saving, Editing files.
• Word Processing.
• Spreadsheets.
• Presentation Software.
• The Internet – Browsing, Search Engines, eBay, Banking Online etc.
• Email.
• Gadgets – iPod’s, MP3 players, Digital Cameras.
