Crochet
This course is suitable
for those interested in the revival of Traditional Irish
Crochet (lace).The Ursuline Sisters brought the craft
form France and taught it to young girls for many years.
This craft has been very popular but has declined recently.
Participants will be familiar with following a pattern
and will be competent to produce two pieces of work,
rectangular and circular at the end of this course.
These two pieces are the basis of all crochet work.

• Doilies
• Shawls
