Course Description

This course will be suitable for people with some experience in art. The course will expand and build on existing drawing and painting skills. It will explore the use of a variety of materials, equipment and techniques while enabling the learner to develop their individual creativity. Learners will become familiar with the process of developing a series of work, from visual research, to experimentation through to the finished work.

Course Content

• Painting, exploration of water colours and oil paints.
• Drawing, exploration of other materials, charcoal, pastels and alternative drawing materials.
• Learn to develop a body of work.

This course will attempt to cater for learners interested in moving on with art.

Duration: 10 weeks 25th Jan 2010 – 19th April 2010

Sessions: 7pm – 9pm Monday evenings
