(A)Unless otherwise stated, tthe minimum requirements for admission to courses are:

Successful completion of the Leaving Certificate/Leaving Certificate Applied or equivalent, and Successful completion of interview.

(B) 'Successful completion of Leaving Certificate' is defined as a minimum of five grade D subjects at Ordinary Level.

(C) a minimum pass grade on the Leaving Certificate Applied is acceptable as equivalent to (B) above.

(D) A pass grade in LCVP link module is acceptable as the equivalent of a pass in one of the five Leaving Certificate subjects mentioned in (B) above.

(E) Foundation level subjects are acceptable.

(F) Applicants who present with school-leaving examinations other than Leaving Certificate (e.g. G.C.S.E) will be assessed on the basis of acceptable equivalent tables.

(G) Mature / Adult Students with no formal qualifications are welcome to apply. Mature students are defined as those aged 23 and over at the beginning of the academic year.

(H) Students for whom English is a second language will be required to take and pass an English Language test set by WCFE
